Prostho Dental Office (managed by Dr Kelvin Khng) is dedicated to provide all our patients with the most comprehensive dental treatment, using state of the art technology and personalized treatment plan to suit their dental needs. We provide a wide range of dental treatment, from scaling and polishing, restoring of teeth with dental fillings or prostheses. These dental prostheses includes crowns, bridges, dentures, full arch dental implant-supported prostheses and mouth splints.

Dr. Kelvin Khng graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry in 2006. After his graduation, he joined MOHH and worked as a dental officer at Toa Payoh Polyclinic. He became dental officer in-charge in 2007 – 2008.
In 2009, Dr. Kelvin Khng continued to pursue his advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa, USA. Upon successfully completing his postgraduate training and obtaining his Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences, he was offered the position of a clinical fellow at the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry.
In 2014, he returned home to Singapore and started work at the National University Hospital, Dental Clinic. He now practices as a prosthodontist in private practice and teaches part-time weekly at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry.
Dr. Kelvin Khng is a board certified prosthodontist in the United States of America and Singapore. He is also the past-president of the Prosthodontic Society of Singapore, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontist, Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Singapore, member of the Singapore Dental Association and a member of the American Prosthodontic Society.
Dr. Kelvin Khng, father to 3 sons and an avid motorsports fanatic, spends his free time racing radio controlled cars. His passion for racing radio-controlled cars started at the age of 9 and he has been honing his driving skills for the past 31 years.
Dr. Kelvin Khng believes in paying forward and giving back to the society. He currently serves on the college advisory committee of Tampines Meridian Junior College. He helps in nurturing his fellow juniors from his alma mater by providing job shadowing opportunities to students.
Dr. Kelvin Khng is fluent in English, Mandarin and Teochew.

About Prosthodontics
What is Prosthodontics?
Prosthodontics is a dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance, and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth.
Who is a Prosthodontist?
A dentist who has postgraduate training in the specialty of prosthodontics. These training programs, usually a 3 years full time course are provided by accredited universities or institutions. In Singapore, all MOH accredited dental specialists are required to sit for an exit examination showcasing their prosthodontic works a few years after completing their postgraduate training in order to be a recognised dental specialist.
