More About Dr. Khng

Dr. Kelvin Khng is both an American board-certified prosthodontist and a dental specialist registered with the Singapore Dental Council. He graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry in 2006. In 2009, Dr. Khng continued to pursue advanced specialist training in Prosthodontics at the University of Iowa, USA. In 2012, he successfully completed his postgraduate training and obtained his Master of Science degree in Oral Sciences. Upon completion of his postgraduate training, he taught dental undergraduates at the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry for a year before returning to Singapore in mid-2013.

In 2013, he continued his practice of prosthodontics at the National University Hospital, Dental Centre with a joint appointment as an assistant professor at the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Khng is currently the clinical director at Prostho Dental Office and teaches undergraduate students part-time at the Faculty of Dentistry at The National University of Singapore. He is also an instructor of Dr. Jiro Abe’s suction denture technique.

Dr. Kelvin is a prosthodontist and an instructor for the suction effective mandibular denture technique. He lectures as well as gives hands-on courses to dentist around the region. Till today, Dr. Khng had given more than 50 lectures on topics related to prosthodontics in dental conferences in Singapore and internationally. The covid-19 pandemic did not stop Dr. Kelvin from giving lectures but took it to the next level. The most recent international webinar that he spoke in during the pandemic had over 3000 participants.
